The Truth About Getting Seen Online
And so, the world is buzzing with AI this and AI that…it creates a massive unbalance in some conventional ways of gaining “traffic” to your offer.
Do you know why?
Well AI is pretty much a toddler, it’s out there grabbing information from as many references as it can in order to collate it into something to feed back to us lazy humans.
I saw an interesting interview a couple of days ago in which a VERY in-touch marketer pointed out that the LLM (Language Learning Model) currently being used by Google is pretty much untethered…meaning if it picks up on an “untruth” (in human terms) it may well, if unchallenged, take that as a truth…and then it continues to dish that out as a truth and self confirms it as such.
Now that is pretty scary when we have all, pretty much, taken the feedback of Google as the BEST information…yes?
So, what do we do?
Can we abandon Google now it is so intertwined with Reddit as a “good source” of information [not a keyboard warriors hideout at all lol]?
Well, for me, maybe it’s early days, but I would always advise fact checking…maybe using DuckDuckGo, just as an example, see what it throws out for the same query.
